Engraving is the oldest of the graphic arts, a distinction that adds an extra touch of class. From its first use by Italian goldsmiths in the 1400's, engraving has remained for centuries. And except for a few changes in tools or materials, the concept has always remained the same: the human touch makes the difference; the precision, the style, the delicacy. A quality that can't be matched.
Foil Stamping: A graphic done in foil makes your business cards or stationery stand out from all the rest. The glittering golds and silver or the multiple matte colors gives it a look like no other process.
Thermography: A process of printing involving the use of heat. A raised printing process in which the words being printed are dusted with powder and heated to make the lettering rise. This gives the type a shiny appearance. Pepperite was one of the first thermographers in the mid-south – first adding the powder by hand and then later using the heat to raise the lettering.
