Frequently Asked Questions ![](images/buildingflattened.jpg)
- Where is your office located? Our office located in north Spokane, at 101 W. Cascade Way, 1 block west of Division Street. We are located approximately 5 miles north of the Interstate 90 Division exit and south of the North Division "Y" (where highways 395 and 2 converge).
- Do I need a referral from another dentist to see you? Not at all. We accept new patients who are referred from our Yellow Pages advertisement, word-of-mouth referrals from family and friends, and workplace and Internet referrals.
- I just broke my tooth and I need a crown quickly. What do I do? Call our office at either 1-800-844-5339 or 509-466-2595 and speak with our office manager, Lori Fitzgerald. She will do everything she can to accommodate your scheduling needs and get you seen by Dr. Erickson as quickly as possible.
- How much does a crown cost? Our gold or porcelain crown fees are very competitive -- often lower than that being charged by other local dentists. Lori will give you a quote over the phone: Just call her at 1-800-844-5339 or 509-466-2595.
- I've got some missing teeth and I think I'd like to finally get some dentures. What do I do? How do I start? You would come in and we would perform a new-patient comprehensive exam, take the appropriate X-rays, and then discuss your needs and options. Ifa second appointment is necessary, you would return for an in-depth consultation with Dr. Erickson. He would discuss the potentially wide variety of treatment options available to you, and talk with you about the advantages and disadvantages of each.
- How much do dentures cost? Our fees for dentures are very competitive, in large part because Dr. Erickson does much of the work himself in his own laboratory. As a result, many times our fees are lower than charged by other Spokane dentists. Lori will give you a quote for dentures over the phone: Just call her at 1-800-844-5339 or 509-466-2595.
- I need a replacement denture. How long does it take to get a new one? From start to finish, a new denture can be completed in as little as 4 weeks. Adjustments to new dentures are included at no additional cost.
- Can I bring my entire family here for routine dental care? Although prosthodontics -- replacing missing teeth with dentures, bridges or implants -- are our trained specialty, we can and do provide routine care. Our patients range in age from 9 into the 90s. However, we are not equipped for small children. If you have young children, we are glad to refer you to a dentist who can accommodate your small ones.
- Because you are a specialist, can I expect to pay higher fees for your treatment? NO. In many cases our competitive rates are lower than you'll find being charged by other local dentists for the same service. We encourage you to inquire into prices charged by other dentists, and then compare. We believe that you'll discover that Dr. Erickson comes out on top when it comes to lower costs -- and QUALITY.
- What methods of payment does your office accept? We accept VISA, Master Card, personal checks, cash, and insurance reimbursements. (We're sorry, but we don't take American Express or Discover cards.)
- Which insurance companies does your office accept? We work with and accept most insurance companies. Please call our office manager, Lori Fitzgerald, to check on your plan's specific coverages. You can reach her at 1-800-844-5339 or 509-466-2595.
- Can I make payments over time? We ask for two-thirds of the agreed-upon treatment fee when treatment is to begin. Payments comprising the final one-third owed can be made over the next 60 days; however, we prefer not to go longer than 60 days.
- Are any discounts available? We offer discounts on payments made in cash.
